Day At The Races

Our senior excursion casino bus fundraiser was a lot of fun. We had prepared lunches distributed on board along with Our Family Circle Foundation raffling off many great gifts. Upon arriving safely to the Casino we had the opportunity to play 10 Free games of Bingo with a $50 payout along with the final game of blackout paying $100. We also received $15 free play for  slots or table games.  Everyone enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to the next senior excursion casino bus trip.

Our Crab Feed fundraiser was a big hit, the crowd enjoyed great hot crab, spaghetti, salad and garlic bread. The DJ played music that appealed to the entire crowd,  we had many request for music from the late artist Prince. May Prince Nelson, RIP.

Before the evening ended we had our popular raffle which many of our return guest look forward to, we had over 20 great gifts to win.  Mrs. Irma, our pastry vendor had a great assortment of chocolate cakes, lemon cakes, sweet potato pies, pecan pies and cookies for sale. Most of her pastries were sold out before the evening ended.
Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley was among the guest and Mrs. Jones CEO of Our Family Circle Senior Community Center acknowledged him and asked him to say a few words about his involvement in the community and as founder of United Seniors of Oakland and Alameda County.

Overall our event was a sellout and a success, everyone had a good time. We thank everyone who participated to make our Crab Feed a success.
